Q: Are there enrollment application deadlines
A: Achieve Detroit Academy is open for enrollment throughout the year. You don’t have to wait until the beginning of the traditional school year or semester to enroll.
Q: Are there any out-of-pocket expenses to attend?
A: No! Achieve Detroit Academy is completely free to attend.
Q: Are there any face-to-face requirements?
A: All of your coursework will be completed 100% online, and you will not be required to attend any face-to-face class sessions. All your meetings with teachers, coaches, and tutors will be conducted online. However, students will be required to take state exams in person. We do encourage students to stop by our drop-in facility at the Detroit Lions Academy to receive extra academic support and help with college and career planning.
Q: What are the graduation requirements for this program?
A: To earn your diploma from Achieve Detroit Academy, you will need to complete a total of 18 credits in various subjects. More details can be found on the Graduation Requirements page.
Q: How long will it take to complete my diploma?
A: That depends on how many credits you transfer in and how quickly you work. Typically, students are expected to make the same amount of progress in a school year as they would in a traditional high school, but you can complete courses faster if you choose. At Achieve Detroit Academy, you can graduate as soon as you meet all the requirements – no need to wait until May!
